“I was a guest on Cynthia Brian’s radio program, BE THE STAR YOU ARE!®, Cynthia is very articulate and more than this, when there was a technical glitch, she was also very patient. It has long been my belief that whatever a person sincerely thinks they are, this they will become. There is a story of an American Indian, who finds an eagle’s egg on the ground. Searching in vain for the nest, he puts it under a prairie chicken to hatch. When the eagle comes out, he looks around to see what he is supposed to be doing. He sees the other prairie chickens rising a few feet above the earth, then loudly cawing and scratching at the soil. He does this, too, for his whole life. Near the end of that life, he sees an eagle proudly flying overhead. He asks in astonishment “What is that?” An elderly prairie chicken tell him, “that is an eagle. Why he can fly right up to the sun. But don’t you ever try that. You are just a prairie chicken like the rest of us.” And so he dies, thinking he is a prairie chicken, having spent his entire life rising only a few feet above the earth. If only he had known he was an eagle, why he might have flown right up to the sun! This is what Cynthia Brian brings to the airwaves. This radio program is dedicated to telling others that they are eagles, not prairie chickens.
